Came with family to celebrate my son's 18th birthday this past week. We are locals and love splurging now and then here. Madison our waitress was fabulous. We had steaks, chicken fried steak, brisket stuffed jalapeños, calamari. All were cooked to order and tasted great. Mr. Westbrook the manager came over to check on how we liked the meal and service. Hands down the best visit we have had there. We didn't get any pics this time.

My husband and I made reservations and were seated about 10 min before our time. We ordered drinks, I had the Pomegranate mule. It was decent. The calamari app was good, a little on salty side, but the two dips for it were awesome, one a tomato base and the other something creamy with garlic. For dinner he had 12oz wagyu steak special cooked medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes and tempura mushrooms. His steak was perfection with doneness, marbling, and tenderness. He ate every bit, but did say it was heavily seasoned with salt. He didn't take but one bite of his mashed potatoes because of the amount of salt. I had the seared scallops with asparagus and traded out potatoes for Brussel sprouts because I heard they were tasty. Oh man! The scallops were cooked perfectly. Melted in your mouth, and I could have eaten every bite but again SALT. Man! It was too much. They didn't need it. The other flavors were spot on. I'm talking crunch of sea salt in your mouth too salty! Same for the brussel sprouts and asparagus. TOOO SALTY. There was a bourbon glaze or something it tasted like on the Brussel sprouts that would have been heaven without the extra salt. We did get dessert to go. Cheesecake with chocolate sauce (I'm pretty sure has an espresso add in) and I got the a lemon budino. The lemon dessert was so scrumptious. Light and airy and very yum! The cheesecake was your standard cheesecake. We would love to eat here again minus the extra salt!

Food was delicious and staff was so nice! We had dinner then went to the dance room bar for live music. So much fun but there is a $10 cover per person.

Had such a great time last night at crossroads saloon. We thoroughly enjoyed having a few cocktails at the bar. Best old-fashioned I've ever had! The fried cheese curds were amazing, the place definitely had a old town Texas vibes. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The music as was amazing!

Really nice steakhouse near shopping. Warm and inviting interior. Excellent and attentive service. Steak was cooked exactly to temperature requested. Wish the wine list would have offered more choices by the glass but otherwise everything was great.

We visited Crossroads four days ago, for a holiday gathering, tripping from San Antonio. We spent the early afternoon at the Edge Winery, then drove west into town for an early dinner. It has been a full four years since we visited, and given our very positive experience, elected to dine once again at Crossroads. Reading the reviews on Yelp, reading the most recent reviews, some guests reported snarky staff, terrible service and less than delicious menu items. Friends, I am happy to report our very different experience. We visited right at the opening hour, and were warmly greeted by the host at entry, and with our reservation, were immediately seated in the main dining room. Dena waited our table of six, promptly filling our order of aperitifs. We requested bread service, but passed on appetizers, and proceeded to the entree selections. Our choices: tenderloin, ribeye, chicken and scallops. Sided with the entrees were variously plated: vegetables, potatoes, and rice. The concensus: beef with sear and uniformly with finish as ordered. Our party elected rare and medium rare...perfect! Seasoning was point on! I chose the scallops, and being rather particular about scallops, my impression was the Crossroad mollusks were cooked to perfection, avoiding the common crime of overcooking that leaves one with a rubbery piece of protein. I did think that my scallops were a little oversalted, but my lady felt this not to be the case. Our overall consensus: an experience well deserving our 5 star recommendation. Service was prompt, and Dena our waitress, just the compleat professional: knowledgeable of the menu, of good cheer, and attentive but not intrusive. To a person we considered, the aperitifs perfectly blended by the mixologist, and the entrees literally left nothing to be desired! Would we return to Crossroads? Definitely! And Yelpers, we will not wait another four years to revisit! Enjoy....and Happy Holidays!!
